About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of production equipment and facility systems in a food manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, and fabrication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced operation.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
  • 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Fabrication and welding experience required
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems (110V, 208V, 460V)
  • Rebuild motors, gearboxes, and pumps
  • Fabricate and repair conveyors, frames, and production components
  • Perform MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  • Repair air lines and pneumatic systems
  • Install and wire cameras and Redzone sensors
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment
  • Follow OSHA and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
  • Work safely at heights over 50 feet
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
