What You'll Do:This role is heavily focused on automation and electrical troubleshooting within a conveyor-driven manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Technician at our West Chester, OH Service Center, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the equipment and infrastructure that powers our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
Requirements
- Hands-on automation and electrical troubleshooting experience supporting production equipment in a manufacturing or processing environment
- PLC and controls diagnostic experience, including navigating ladder logic and using HMIs to identify and isolate faults (Allen-Bradley preferred)
- Strong electrical knowledge, including 480V / 3-phase systems, motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and control panels
- Ability to act as a first responder to equipment downtime, diagnosing issues independently before escalation
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining conveyor-driven or automated production systems
- Solid understanding of industrial mechanical systems, including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, and power transmission
- Preventive maintenance mindset with the ability to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and accurate maintenance documentation practices
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety practices, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Willingness to work 3rd shift and operate independently in a fast-paced production environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in electrical, automation, or controls strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and resolving equipment and manufacturing system issues in collaboration with our operations team.
- Performing preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Providing occasional facility-related support as needed, secondary to equipment, automation, and production system maintenance.
- Identifying and solving recurring equipment problems alongside the maintenance team.
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA and Tosca’s internal safety standards.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of and strict adherence to the Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) program.
