BASIC FUNCTION: The Hotel Maintenance Technician I will assist guests with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problem. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventive maintenance on property equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma/equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Valid Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance duties on properties.
• Responsibilities include standard guest room maintenance.
• Painting, filter changing of HVAC systems and pool equipment.
• Pool chemical monitoring and pool maintenance.
• Tennis court maintenance.
• Clearing condensation and plumbing fixture drain lines.
• Snow removal.
• Completing daily infrastructure check out sheets and identifying issues to report back to the department for correction
• Assist lead techs with property upgrades and repairs.
• Must be able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis..
• Physical duties require a full range of physical motion in order to operate manual and electrically powered tools and test equipment.
• Climbing stairs, operating snow removal equipment and machinery are frequent tasks.
• Focus on customer needs and customer satisfaction.
• Projects a positive customer service environment to both internal and external customers.
• Promotes and encourages an attitude of exemplary customer service and high integrity to all the staff within Facilities Management.
• Contributes to the overall success of the Facilities Maintenance Department by performing other essential duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
