KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Builds, installs, maintains, and repairs a variety of production and building equipment. This may include electrical controls, circuits, control panels, forklifts, cranes, company vehicles and other operations equipment in the plant. Solve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment (Dis)assembling/installing new machines, condition monitoring sensors, equipment Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns Replaces parts by operating machine tools, welding (pending plant location) or brazier as needed. Follows prescribed preventative maintenance schedule in oiling, greasing and calibration of machinery. Collaborates with manager to develop tasks and fixtures which would improve facility processes. Work with vendors coming on-site for scheduled repairs. Double checks that safety devices are in working order on all machines and equipment. Provide training for new technicians. Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space Act, Live, and Behave by TCF Core Values. Additional duties may be assigned, dependent upon location and product line.
