Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ravinia St. Lucie! This apartment community has 148 units, and is located in St. Lucie, FL. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the property in a safe, attractive and comfortable condition. This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process. The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar industry required
  • Valid Driver's License with current insurance
  • EPA Certification highly preferred, must be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to be a strong team player
  • Facilities maintenance experience - HVAC repair, carpentry, pool care, appliance troubleshooting/repair, electrical - ability to replace light fixtures, fans, switch covers, etc. and basic plumbing knowledge
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Must be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities (rotated schedule)
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms
  • Position requires ability to climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear
  • Must be able to lift or move 100lbs occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • CPO and CAMT both highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs
  • Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service
  • Assists in organization and assignment of service work orders at the Maintenance Supervisor's direction
  • Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
  • Maintain property grounds
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests
  • Team work to achieve property goals
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Assists in maintaining inventory, required company logs, orderliness, and safety of tools, equipment, supplies and maintenance shop
