PCSI is looking for a Maintenance Trades Helper at FT. SILL! A Maintenance Trades Helper will do minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste systems, architectural and structural building components, doors, windows, floor systems, light carpentry, and roof systems. Preventative maintenance functions and minor repairs, including changing filters, cleaning cooling towers, heating and cooling coils, and changing fluorescent and other light bulbs. This position will report to the PMO Supervisor and is based at FT. SILL in Lawton. Typical work hours will be Monday- Friday from 7:30am-4pm. What You'll Do as Maintenance Trades Helper: Minor adjustments and repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, waste systems, architectural and structural building components, doors, windows, floor systems, light carpentry, and roof systems. Cleaning and maintaining of mechanical rooms. Preventative maintenance functions and minor repairs, including changing filters, cleaning cooling towers, heating and cooling coils, and changing fluorescent and other light bulbs. Manufacture, repair, and installation of screens and glass. Sign maintenance to include inspections, replacement (setting/affixing) and painting. Ensure all paperwork is completed. Work involves a variety of the following duties: Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets Painting structures and equipment Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalk Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles Hanging doors and installing door locks Replacing broken windowpanes Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery Other duties as assigned.
