About You: As the Maintenance Welder-Fabricator, you are part of Best People. You will work closely with our customer to identify maintenance opportunities for improving manufacturing quality, reducing costs, increasing efficiency and working within a team to ensure effective execution. Utilizing our Best Systems, you will perform all work safely while setting an example for quality and laying out the map for their team’s success. You have fundamental skills and prior experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding and Fabrication. Because you are passionately committed to being the best, you seek opportunities to learn and grow your skillset. You help us grow our business relationships by communicating to the customer open issues and seeking additional scope work to support growth and produce Best Results.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize work to ensure team safety, quality, and delivery of assigned tasks.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and CAD drawings.
  • Ability to produce strong, clean welds, MIG & TIG.
  • Ability to fully document WO and correctives.
  • Will have responsibilities beyond Welding and Fabrication to assist Maintenance Team in the Facility and on Production floor.
  • Prior experience MIG, TIG, and Stick Welding and Fabrication required.
  • Prior experience with CNC plasma, Shear, Brake, and other machining tools required.
  • Experience performing work safely both indoors and outdoors, preferably within an industrial production and facility maintenance department
  • Experience and willingness working weekends.
  • Experience and ability to safely lift items up to 70 lbs.
  • Experience working in hot and damp environments, wearing PPE, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and standing/walking for extended periods of time.
