Play a key role in keeping the resort running smoothly and beautifully for every guest and team member. The Maintenance I position ensures that all equipment, systems, and facilities are safe, reliable, and in top working order. By maintaining the heart of the property-its machinery, structures, and utilities-this role helps create a comfortable, seamless experience that our guests can feel from the moment they arrive.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must have Current Oregon Driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team; speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee.
  • Inspects and tests machinery and equipment to ensure everything operates safely and efficiently.
  • Listens for unusual sounds or performance issues and works with supervisors or other maintenance team members to identify and resolve problems.
  • Repairs or replaces parts on machinery and equipment, ensuring all components function as designed.
  • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts to extend the life and performance of equipment.
  • Assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, hydraulic and pneumatic lines, and related equipment including gauges, valves, and regulators.
  • Repairs and maintains the physical structures of the resort to keep facilities in excellent condition for guests and staff alike.
  • Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment as needed.
  • Cleans and services equipment in the Laundry Mill to ensure reliable operation and guest-ready results.
  • Operates tools and machines such as lathes, grinders, and drills to repair or fabricate parts and fixtures that support resort operations.
  • Jump in where needed to support the team and keep things running smoothly.
