About The Position

Provides maintenance services to all HCHS facilities regardless of location. Adhere to industry quality and safety standards. Participates in department call schedule on a rotating basis.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess and maintain an active Iowa Driver's License and must live within 20 minutes of hospital for call purposes.
• Must be or willing to become a State of Iowa licensed boiler operator.
• Must be able to take and pass the HCHS pre-employment/post offering drug testing.
• Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, squat, kneel crawl, bend, climb, balance, and walk.
• Must be able to work in and out of doors in all kinds of climate conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Advanced technical training related to building and equipment maintenance preferred.
