About The Position

Trellix is seeking a strategic closer to dominate the NYC/Boston market and redefine cyber-resilience for enterprise giants. As a Trellix high-caliber Majors Account Executive, you will lead and grow a prestigious territory of named accounts across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. In this role, you will act as a strategic architect of security posture for some of the world’s most recognizable Fortune 500 brands. You aren’t just selling software; you are partnering with C-suite executives to solve the most complex cybersecurity challenges of the modern era using Trellix’s industry-leading ecosystem.

Requirements

  • The Enterprise Specialist: You have 10+ years of high-growth experience in information security, cloud, or high-tech sales, specifically targeting large-scale enterprise organizations.
  • A Master Negotiator: You possess a proven track record of managing complex, multi-million dollar deals and navigating the nuances of multi-tiered sales environments.
  • Technically Fluent: While you’re a closer, you speak the language of the SOC. You understand networking topologies and can credibly discuss how Trellix integrates into a customer’s existing architecture.
  • Relationship-Rich: You bring an established network of contacts in the New York or Boston corridor and a deep understanding of the unique regional market challenges.
  • Virtually Native: You are as effective at building rapport via Google Meet as you are in a boardroom.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue Excellence: Consistently exceed assigned quotas by mastering the art of the "complex close"—navigating multi-divisional sales cycles for both software and professional services.
  • Strategic Territory Ownership: Develop and execute sophisticated account plans that maximize the Trellix footprint within a curated list of high-value, multi-industry accounts.
  • C-Level Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to CISOs and IT leadership, translating technical requirements into business value and long-term security resilience.
  • Collaborative Winning: Lead a "pod" of experts—including Sales Engineers, Global Teams, and Channel Partners—to deliver seamless product evaluations, pilot implementations, and high-impact demonstrations.
  • Pipeline Innovation : Proactively identify white-space opportunities within your portfolio, leveraging our extensive security stack to provide comprehensive, future-proof solutions.
