About The Position

About this Unit The Grand Rapids Betty Ford Breast Care mammography team supports 11 ambulatory imaging locations in the greater Grand Rapids region. This team of over 40 technologists’ staff two diagnostic sites at Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion and Blodgett Hospital and nine different screening locations during weekday business hours. About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. Scope of Work Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Assists licensed practitioners with invasive procedures. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
• CRT-Mammography (M) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 1 Year required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
