About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Mammography Radiologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. Opportunity Details: Interpretation of breast tomosynthesis and 2D mammography. Interpretation of breast MRI and sonography. Perform ultrasound-guided, MRI-guided, and stereotactic breast biopsies. Perform needle localization procedures for surgical guidance. Teach and evaluate residents rotating in mammography. Provide monthly lectures and mentor radiology residents. Actively participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities within the Mammography Section.

Requirements

  • Active and unrestricted New York State physician license
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Fellowship training in Breast Imaging/Mammography Radiology

Responsibilities

  • Interpretation of breast tomosynthesis and 2D mammography.
  • Interpretation of breast MRI and sonography.
  • Perform ultrasound-guided, MRI-guided, and stereotactic breast biopsies.
  • Perform needle localization procedures for surgical guidance.
  • Teach and evaluate residents rotating in mammography.
  • Provide monthly lectures and mentor radiology residents.
  • Actively participate in Performance Improvement (PI) activities within the Mammography Section.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $468,750 (board eligible); $520,250 (board certified) based on 40-hour work week.
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
