About The Position

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention. A Mammography Technologist in the Breast Center is responsible for performing screening mammograms and providing exceptional patient care. Full Time / Days Rotation includes Issaquah location and some Saturday Shifts.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology program required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Must have completed didactic training to include 40 initial mamography education hours and 8 hours of digital breast tomography prior to start date.
• Washington State registration as Radiology Technologist (RT) required
• Healthcare provider CPR required
• Requires 24 CME credits every 2 years. (5 specifically for mammography)
• Documentation of 100 mammograms per year, with the exception of new graduates or newly certified mammography technologists.
• After October 18, 2021 all Washington state healthcare employees, contractors and volunteers will be required to provide proof of full COVID-19 immunization as a condition of employment. You must provide this proof before your first day of employment with Overlake. Please remember to bring your COVID-19 immunization card to your pre-hire health screening with our Employee Health team.

Nice To Haves

• One year previous screening mammography experience preferred.
• ARRT (M) certification preferred on date of hire. New graduates will be allowed up to 6 months to obtain ARRT(M) certification.
