Specifically, we are looking for a TS/SCI cleared Management Portal Developer - Journeyman to support this mission at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. Responsibilities: As a Management Portal Developer - Journeyman, you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include: Develops, implements, and maintains Task Order portal solutions to enhance user/tenant experience and functionality. Leads the end-to-end implementation of Task Order portal features such as automated workflows for RIPs/ CTPs, and. This includes designing user interfaces, developing robust API logic, and defining database interactions. Designs and implements secure, scalable RESTful APIs for managing financial resources, tracking contract expenditures, and processing acquisition requests. Integrates with internal and external services (e.g., for supplier information, inventory management). Designs and optimizes complex database schemas (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for storing detailed acquisition data, financial transactions, and COOP planning artifacts. Implements data migration scripts and ensures data integrity. Identifies and resolves performance bottlenecks in the Task Order portal 's backend services and frontend rendering. Implements caching strategies (e.g., Redis) and optimizes query performance. Implements role-based access control (RBAC) mechanisms and data encryption protocols within the Task Order portal, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards for sensitive CUI. Addresses common OWASP vulnerabilities. Contributes to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, DAST) for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring of Task Order portal updates related to Task 2 functions. Manages containerization (e.g., Docker) of applications. Proactively identifies and proposes solutions for managing technical debt within assigned modules, ensuring long-term maintainability and scalability. Ensures compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines across all phases of acquisition and contract management. Utilize the following Role Specific Tools: ServiceNow; Jira Help Desk; Web development IDEs; code validation tools; SharePoint/Confluence for documentation; Power BI for application performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Management Portal Developer or similar role supporting a DoD customer at the CCMD level
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with a BS/BA, or 3years’ experience with an MS/MA or 0 years’ experience with a PhD. or 9 years' experience w/o a degree or 7 years' Experience with AS/AA
  • A current, active DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level
  • US citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Must complete DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
