About The Position

The Management Trainee position is an opportunity to build banking knowledge and analytical skills, discover interests and strengths, and develop business acumen over the course of a 12-month Management Trainee program. This position will learn banking skills in a variety of locations, will gain an understanding of many areas of the bank, and open up future career advancement opportunities. The extensive training includes required and elective rotations (in areas such as Community Banking, Commercial Banking, Credit, Wealth Management, Treasury, IT, and Risk Management) and monthly educational and networking opportunities. Trainees who perform well will be considered for positions within the company.

Requirements

Aptitude for developing business acumen and strong banking skills.
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills, and aptitude for learning other software applications.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and/or the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
Ability to apply concepts of business mathematics.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Bachelor's Degree required and 1-3 years banking experience, business-related work experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience to include demonstrated financial analytical skills required
Dexterity of hands/fingers to operate computer keyboard and mouse - Frequently

Works with experienced employees to learn best practices.
