About The Position

This role will be based in San Francisco. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. As the Manager of a Talent Account Executives team, you will lead the expansion of our client base for North America. Requirements

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
  • 2+ years in an acquisition sales or account executive role

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years sales management experience.
  • A demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Expertise in the understanding and application of relevant sales methodologies and metrics.
  • A demonstrated track record of effectively hiring and motivating seasoned Account Executives/Account Directors.
  • Ability to evaluate sound business opportunities and close deals.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM tools to manage sales-related activities.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects and to guide/direct others.
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, relatively unstructured start-up environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute against a focused sales strategy to acquire new business for your region.
  • Leverage relationships to open doors to new strategic business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track results.
  • Directly manage the day to day operations of the team with the ability to grow and scale as necessary.
  • Manage escalations and participate directly in all aspects of the sales cycle to ensure customer and member satisfaction.
  • Be directly involved with the mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new account executives.
  • Inspire and motivate employees on a daily basis and bring innovation to the sales process to help accelerate our market growth trajectory.
  • Ability to travel as required (up to 15%).
