About The Position

The Accounts Payable Manager supervises and leads the A/P team to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices, expense reports and vendor payments. The Manager provides leadership and assumes delegated responsibility for oversight of day to day operations and assigned personnel within their assigned functional group. This role supports the Director by using independent judgement and discretion to manage personnel, support positive staff relations, and ensure safe and efficient patient care while remaining budget focused. This position also acts as a service coordinator, change agent and advocate for excellence in line with Aspen Valley Hospital’s Core Values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an accounting or finance related field, or equivalent education.
  • At least 5 years of A/P experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting theories, practices and GAAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including functions, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, data visualization, and automation using macros and VBA.
  • Experience with electronic purchase orders.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in an accounting or finance-related field preferred.
  • Experience with accounting or finance in a hospital or healthcare system preferred.
