This role will play a key part in shaping the future of Global Wealth & Asset Management Investment Operations. The incumbent will be an expert on BlackRock’s Aladdin operations platform, can perform day-to-day operational functions and assist in configuring the system to meet the firm’s needs. They will assist others in mastering the Aladdin system and have experience across several operational disciplines and asset classes, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, collateral management, and corporate actions. Position Responsibilities: Timely and accurate processing of trade life cycle events across all product types, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and foreign exchange. Interact with the Accounting and Middle Office teams on issues pertaining to valuation and data integrity and will also have the ability to multi-task and deal with competing priorities, as this is a dynamic, fast paced environment in constant change. Establish strong working relationships with various business unit managers and traders to ensure a timely and accurate trade life cycle. Develop an understanding of the current investment operations landscape and how global financial reform impacts our firm Ensure that all processes and systems work within any mandated regulatory and compliance requirements for the industry Maintain focus as priorities change, keeping business needs and importance in perspective as it relates to overall strategic goals and communicating these changes in an understandable, justified and acceptable means

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and equivalent experience working in a derivatives back or middle office environment
• A minimum 5 years of Investment Operations and/or Derivatives Operations industry experience with an emphasis on trade life cycle and settlements
• A required minimum 5 years of hands-on experience using BlackRock's Aladdin operations platform
• Excellent analytical skills, high level of accuracy and the ability to think through problems, assess a variety of factors and recommend solutions
• Solid organizational skills and a high degree of professionalism combined with the ability to readily adapt to rapidly changing environments and deal with competing priorities
• Team player with demonstrated experience building and maintaining good working relationships both internally and externally
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments
