The Sr. Behavioral Analyst Administrator serves as both a clinical and programmatic leader of the Intensive Behavior Team, managing and guiding implementation of clinical services at UR Medicine and contract partner sites. They implement Applied Behavior Analytic services across inpatient and ambulatory settings with patients across the age span and train URMC and community-based staff and caregivers. They provide clinical supervision to behavior analysts and behavior technicians. The Behavior Analyst conduct is at all times in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) Code of Ethical Conduct and the New York State Education Requirements for Licensed Behavior Analysts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education or related field and 5 years in applied behavior analysis, psychology, education or related field required
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • NYS Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) licensure or limited permit required.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and delivers curriculum and training activities, conducts large-scale needs assessments, program evaluations, and facilitates system navigation efforts for particularly marginalized communities.
  • Designs and manages the delivery of education/training activities for contract partners..
  • Performs complex psychosocial assessments, functional behavioral assessments, functional analyses, and skill assessments in collaboration with staff, individuals and their families to achieve positive outcomes and improved quality of life.
  • Develops function-based behavioral interventions, training models and teaching programs, including, but is not limited to, instructional strategies and behavior reduction strategies, safety plans, and transition plans.
  • Coordinates training with individuals, family and staff, which may include peer supervision and consultation.
  • Assesses successful completion of behavior and/or training plans and terminates participation accordingly.
  • Coordinates with Primary Care Physicians, school teams, and community agencies to ensure continuity of care.
  • Provides supervision to behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians.
  • Facilitates collaborative efforts with faculty.
  • Serves as program liaison to all contract partners and stakeholders.
  • Represents program at professional and community spaces, various stakeholder committees, and events.
  • Provides project management support to ensure program success.
  • Monitors the progress of program activities and ensures all critical implementation criteria are met.
  • Provides status reports to program leadership.
  • Manages project scope and timeline using leadership direction.
  • Identifies and manages risks, escalating as appropriate.
  • Facilitates program meetings with contract partners.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of the program and reports service delivery outcomes.
  • Conducts comprehensive program evaluation plan and facilitates annual satisfaction measures.
  • Implements conflict resolution strategies and fosters partner relationships.
  • Acts as primary contact for behavior plans.
  • Collaborates with referral sources and other professionals throughout implementation of behavior plans.
  • Contributes to community requests and programs related to disseminating and providing training around behavioral supports and services.
  • Develops and delivers educational presentations to hospitals, agencies, and community groups, including behavioral strategies and systemic approaches to supporting behavior.
  • Provides ongoing technical assistance around behavioral supports for hospitals, agencies, community groups.
  • Develops toolkits and other materials on behavioral supports for individuals that can be disseminated throughout the hospital and available to community members.
