Job Summary: The Car Wash Manager will be responsible for ensuring each wash site operates efficiently, safely, and in a manner that provides an Exceptional Customer Experience. This position will oversee site cleanliness, equipment operation, preventative maintenance and customer satisfaction. The Car Wash Manager will work collaboratively with the Company’s Marketing Team to ensure that all promotional programs, marketing campaigns, signage updates, and customer engagement initiatives are properly implemented and executed at each car wash location. This includes ensuring that promotional materials, pricing updates, and marketing displays are installed correctly and maintained according to company standards. Requirements

  • High school diploma required / college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working in car wash operations, retail operations, or equipment-based service businesses preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of automated equipment, pumps, motors, and control systems is helpful.
  • Ability to troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate repairs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate employees.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • This job requires time spent both in the corporate office as well as significant travel time visiting all retail locations on a regular basis.
  • Basic work schedule is Monday through Friday although this position may require additional hours, weekends, or on-call availability to ensure sites remain operational.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of assigned Automatic Rollover Car Wash locations.
  • Ensure all car wash equipment is operating properly and coordinate repairs when issues arise.
  • Implement and maintain preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and costly repairs.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the wash facilities including tunnels, vacuum areas, payment kiosks, signage, and surrounding grounds.
  • Train, supervise, and support site employees to ensure they follow company policies and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Ensure customers receive Exceptional Customer Experience and address customer concerns or service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor chemical usage, wash performance, and equipment settings to ensure wash quality meets company standards.
  • Track and manage operational expenses including chemicals, utilities, repairs, and maintenance costs.
  • Maintain inventory of chemicals, supplies, and parts required to keep wash sites operational.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams or outside vendors when equipment repairs or servicing are required.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure equipment performance, site safety, and operational standards are being maintained.
  • Assist in developing operational procedures and improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Review site performance including wash counts, revenue trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all employees follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Support new car wash openings, upgrades, and equipment installations when required.
  • Be available to respond to operational issues that may negatively impact business operations.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Team monthly to review upcoming marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives related to the car wash business.
  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are properly executed at each car wash site including promotional signage, menu board updates, pricing changes, loyalty programs, digital marketing tie-ins, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to verify that all marketing materials are installed correctly, remain clean and visible, and reflect current company promotions.
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing Team regarding the effectiveness of promotions, customer response, and opportunities to improve car wash marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns by reviewing wash counts, membership growth, and promotional results and provide feedback to leadership and the Marketing Team.
