Position Purpose: The Manager, Compliance – Conflicts of Interest & Exclusions serves as a strategic leader responsible for the execution and continuous enhancement of the Company’s Conflicts of Interest (COI) and Exclusions compliance programs. This role ensures alignment with federal and state regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and industry best practices across the organization, including all lines of business. The ideal candidate is a proactive compliance professional with deep regulatory knowledge, strong cross functional influence, and a passion for managing scalable, risk based compliance programs that support ethical decision making and organizational integrity. Enhance the enterprise‑wide COI and Exclusions compliance program, including governance, controls, documentation, and reporting. Provide strategic oversight of COI intake, review, adjudication, mitigation, and monitoring processes, including the enterprise-wide annual conflict of interest attestation campaign. Oversee COI case management systems, workflows, and data integrity to support timely, consistent, and defensible decision‑making. Identify, assess, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies for actual, potential, or perceived conflicts. Lead the enterprise‑wide COI and Exclusions compliance programs, including governance, controls, documentation, and reporting. Provide strategic oversight of COI intake, review, adjudication, mitigation, and monitoring processes. Maintain awareness of applicable federal and state laws, regulations, guidance, and contractual requirements impacting COI and Exclusions compliance (including Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care regulations). Draft compliance policies, procedures, and standards consistent with regulatory expectations and industry best practices. Ensure timely updates to policies and processes in response to regulatory or contractual changes. Serve as a trusted compliance advisor to business partners. Identify emerging COI and Exclusions risks, trends, and control gaps. Promote a strong culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability through education and stakeholder engagement. Prepare clear, concise compliance reports and metrics for leadership and governance committees. Analyze data and trends to drive continuous improvement and program maturity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Compliance, Healthcare Administration, Business, Law).
  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive compliance experience, preferably within healthcare, managed care, insurance, or regulated industries.
  • Hands on experience managing COI, Exclusions, or related ethics compliance programs strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross functional initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High level of professional judgment, discretion, and integrity.
  • Experience with compliance case management systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's or Juris Doctorate degree strongly preferred.
  • Hands on experience managing COI, Exclusions, or related ethics compliance programs strongly preferred.
