Key statistics: 950+ Consultants 640+ Ph.D.s 90+ Disciplines 30+ Offices globally Our Opportunity We are currently seeking a Manager for our Construction Consulting Practice in our Alexandria, Virginia office. In this role you will work as part of a team which works on large complex construction change-management and dispute resolution engagements.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with relevant experience in construction management, architectural design, and/or engineering
  • 10-15 years of experience in the subcontracting, general contracting, construction management or construction consulting industry
  • Sound understanding of industry standard scope and risk allocation processes as well as project delivery methodology
  • Full understanding of the project life cycle from design through closeout and dispute resolution.
  • Experience in construction change processes, including extra work, changes, claims, and dispute resolution processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work and interact effectively with internal teams and clients
  • Knowledge of and substantial experience with Primavera P6 and other Project scheduling software

Responsibilities

  • Project management
  • Performing and directing detailed project change issue analysis, including delay, cost, productivity impacts
  • Developing demonstrative exhibits, written affirmative and rebuttal reports, and client ready presentations for review by senior management and clients
  • Active participation in industry associations
