Responsibilities THIS ROLE IS 85%+ TRAVEL What You’ll Do as a Manager, Construction Safety & Human Performance As a Manager of Construction Safety & Human Performance at North Coast Holdings, you’ll: • Lead the execution of Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across High Country Fence, supporting next-generation Safety and Human Performance practices• Develop, implement, and enforce standardized safety and human performance policies, procedures, and training• Work directly with project and crew leadership to ensure consistent use of safety systems, programs, and processes• Partner with Project Managers to establish project-specific safety plans during mobilization and throughout the project lifecycle• Utilize Human Performance tools and industry best practices to eliminate serious injuries and at-risk behaviors• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations, including OSHA and other applicable standards• Stay current on regulatory changes and proactively integrate requirements into safety programs• Lead and support incident investigations, identifying root causes and developing corrective actions• Analyze and trend safety data, providing senior leadership with actionable insights and recommendations• Collaborate closely with Field Operations leadership to develop and implement strategic safety initiatives• Support hazard identification and control efforts with a high level of accuracy and engagement• Assist with risk assessments, problem-solving, and corrective action development• Represent the company professionally with customers and regulatory agencies as needed• Participate in industry trade associations and contribute expertise on behalf of the company• Foster engagement and enthusiasm for safety through innovative ideas, programs, and tactics• Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational safety objectives Qualifications What You Bring • Associate’s degree in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field• Five or more years of progressive experience in safety leadership roles, preferably within construction or field-based operations• Demonstrated success driving safety performance and cultural transformation• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations and compliance requirements (NFPA, OSHA, EPA, ANSI)• Experience developing, documenting, and executing safety programs and initiatives• OSHA 510 and OSHA 500 preferred• BCSP certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or STS-C preferred• Knowledge of Human Performance principles; bilingual English/Spanish is an advantage• Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Ability to research, interpret, and apply regulatory and organizational requirements• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence leaders and crews at all levels• Adaptable and comfortable working in both office and outdoor field environments• Self-motivated, improvement-minded, and collaborative• Ability to navigate and inspect active construction job sites Tools and Equipment You’ll use:• Computers, tablets, phones, and standard office equipment• Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Physical Demands Ability to:• Sit, stand, walk, and perform repetitive computer tasks regularly• Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, and lift or move up to 30 pounds• Traverse and inspect job sites with uneven terrain in all weather conditions Environmental Conditions • Regular exposure to outdoor construction environments in varying weather• Noise level is typically moderate• Exposure to standard construction site hazards What We Offer Non Union Benefits• Competitive pay $125,00 - $140,000• Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)• Health, dental, vision, and HSA options• 401(k) with company match• Paid time off and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)• Paid training and career development People Promise Our People Promise Our commitment to Our People is key to the success of our business.
