About The Position

Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy. We're looking for a Manager, Content Partnerships to build and scale Toast's network of industry thought leaders, restaurant operators, and content creators who can authentically amplify our insights, data, and stories across YouTube, newsletters, podcasts, social media, and emerging AI-driven discovery platforms. This role sits at the intersection of content, growth, and community. You'll identify and recruit restaurant operators and industry voices, develop collaboration frameworks that feel authentic, and inspire them to create content and conversations that establish Toast as the authority in hospitality — and ensure Toast shows up when our audience is searching for answers in ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, and beyond. Your north star: When the industry discusses labor trends, technology adoption, or what it takes to run a profitable restaurant, Toast's ideas — distributed through trusted voices — should be at the center of that conversation, whether that's on YouTube or LinkedIn, in a newsletter, or in an AI-generated response.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in creator marketing, content partnerships, community marketing, or growth marketing — ideally within a B2B SaaS or hospitality/F&B brand
  • A proven track record of building and managing creator or content partner programs that drive brand awareness, community advocacy, and measurable business growth
  • Experience developing relationships with creators, partners, or advocates and inspiring them to create authentic content that drives results
  • Experience with creator management or partnership platforms
  • Strong familiarity with social platforms, content ecosystems, and emerging AI discovery platforms
  • Comfort with analytics and project management tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you know how to brief creators and content partners and inspire great content
  • Deep understanding of social trends, online communities, AI-driven discovery, and how to make brands relevant in culture — from LinkedIn thought leadership to YouTube storytelling to Reddit authenticity.
  • Strong ability to design frameworks, turn learnings into playbooks, and work cross-functionally with Brand, Community, PR, Product Marketing, and Growth teams.
  • Excited to experiment, build new programs from scratch, test and iterate, and turn cultural momentum into scalable systems.
  • Comfortable tracking performance, interpreting what's working (including AI visibility and citations), and continuously improving based on insights
  • You build trust, inspire authentic advocacy, and maintain long-term partnerships that feel collaborative, not transactional.

Responsibilities

  • Build Toast's content partnership program from the ground up — developing relationships with restaurant operators, hospitality creators, newsletter publishers, podcast hosts, and industry experts who authentically advocate for Toast.
  • Curate and manage a portfolio of content partners, inspiring them to produce stories, insights, and conversations that drive awareness, build AI visibility and LLM citations, and establish Toast as the industry authority.
  • Design and operationalize scalable frameworks: onboarding processes, content kits, collaboration models, and systems that help the program scale over time.
  • Collaborate across Brand, Social, PR, Product Marketing, and Growth teams to integrate content partnership initiatives into Toast's broader marketing efforts.
  • Launch and measure content campaigns tied to major Toast releases and target themes, balancing creative experimentation with measurable performance outcomes.
  • Monitor and authentically participate in high-value operator communities (Reddit, Discord, Facebook groups, industry forums) to understand pain points, seed Toast insights and content, and build relationships.
  • Identify and recruit community advocates who can become Toast content partners and champions within their communities.
  • Test structured community programs (AMAs, roundtables, resource sharing) and turn learnings into scalable approaches.
  • Provide community insights that inform Content and Brand strategies.
  • Track and analyze content partnership performance: reach, engagement, brand sentiment, LLM citations and AI visibility, conversions, and business impact.
  • Enable partners with compelling briefs and partner-ready assets that inspire authentic, engaging content.
  • Share learnings cross-functionally to optimize what content resonates, which partner types drive the most impact, and how partnerships correlate to AI visibility and demand.
