Oversight of team supporting a portfolio of outsourced capital projects:

Contract Development
Change Management
Contract compliance
Risk Management
Dispute resolution
Identification of capex efficiencies

Proactive and effective leadership

Lead, motivate and develop required department capability
Establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally
Utilize time management skills including ability to quickly understand, analyze and prioritize a broad range of issues, follow-through and complete deliverables on time
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication of both basic and complex information, at all management levels across internal and external stakeholders
Lead analysis and resolution of contract and commercial issues as they pertain to outsourced construction and EPC contracts

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required
• 5+ years of experience in contracts, construction management, or project management within the electric utility industry required
• Microsoft Office proficiency including Power BI, MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Point, Excel and Word required
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history that meets National Grid’s Safe Driver policy required

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of experience managing, coaching teams and developing employees preferred
• 2+ years of experience with EPC or large-scale capital delivery contracts preferred
