About The Position

We are looking for a Manager, Controller – Boron, whose primary function will be to provide financial information and analysis. This position is an excellent opportunity to join a team based in Boron, California and provide optimal controller’s support. Working in a collaborative environment, the team is responsible for coordinating and ensuring a high quality of accounting, financial reporting, technical and compliance support services. Reporting to the Finance Director– Boron, this position is a great development opportunity for a person looking for challenges.

Requirements

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, Accounting certification (CPA or equivalent)
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing or related field
Strong experience in audit and controls
Excellent English (written/verbal)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced critical thinking
Proactive with the ability to work autonomously
Good team player and ability to interact effectively with colleagues / to build partnership
Continuous improvement mindset

Nice To Haves

Solid knowledge in SAP will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

Manage a team of dynamic professionals.
Interprets and comments on monthly financial results used by management and for reporting.
Ensure compliance of financial information with accounting standards and policies and the robustness of internal controls.
Recommend solutions to resolve complex accounting issues specific to the operational situation of the sites under his/her responsibility
Work in partnership with various stakeholders within the organization including Finance Business Partners, financial accounting team, risk, accounting policy, Commercial, Tax, etc.
Mobilize the team to realize our process optimization and standardization initiatives
