As the Manager of Social Community & Cultural Intelligence at Walmart, you will serve as a vital connector between the brand and its diverse social community. Your role is pivotal in providing cultural context and elevating our strategic approach across all marketing channels. By assisting in operationalizing our trend synthesizing capabilities, you will translate real-time cultural and community signals into actionable insights that inform business decisions and drive brand relevance.You will be responsible for helping to manage daily community engagement across all social channels, building and nurturing relationships with brand advocates, and strategically engaging new customers to expand our reach. Leveraging advanced social listening tools, you will surface and analyze online conversations and monitor trends. Your insights will help guide cross-functional teams while you champion the voice of the customer and humanize the brand.Success in this role requires strong written communication skills (you’re an engager, not a creator), a hands-on operational mindset, and a passion for cultural intelligence. You will build custom dashboards and reports to share real-time insights, work with multiple data sources, and stay attuned to platform trends, viral formats, and cultural moments. Your creative problem-solving abilities and data-driven approach will enable you to turn online conversations into meaningful brand moments, deepen community participation, and rapidly adapt messaging in response to real-time events, ensuring Walmart remains at the forefront of cultural relevance.
