About the position

You will bolster KFC's market performance by orchestrating local and equity restaurant marketing initiatives that boost visits, transactions, and sales. Your mission will be to craft and implement innovative, impactful solutions tailored to local markets while championing the KFC brand and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Responsibilities

  • Owning the design and execution of local marketing strategies
  • Accelerate revenue growth and build strong customer relationships by developing and introducing bold, localized marketing strategies that drive higher restaurant visits, transactions, and sales for both equity and franchisee-owned restaurants.
  • Empower franchisees and regional teams to execute compelling campaigns by developing robust, user-friendly marketing playbooks and sharing best practices that streamline execution and deliver results.
  • Maximize ROI of new restaurant openings by providing your expertise to boost visibility, increase customer engagement, and improve rates of long-term success.
  • Put the customer first by developing customer-focused marketing solutions integrating consumer insights, regional sales trends, and competitive intelligence.
  • Ensure long-term health of the restaurant network by developing marketing intervention plans for closure mitigation.
  • Safeguard brand consistency and quality by ensuring all local marketing initiatives adhere to KFC's standards.
  • Strengthen organizational collaboration through deep partnerships with adjacent teams, including planning for announcement and promotion of new stores with the KFC PR team.
  • Improve marketing effectiveness and elevate future strategies by measuring current program outcomes, generating actionable insights, and developing initiatives for performance enhancement.
  • Inspire and cultivate a high-performing team by communicating clear results-oriented expectations, mentoring and equipping the team with resources to meet objectives and grow their careers at KFC US.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience with Bachelors, 6+ years with Master's.
  • Experience in creating and executing local marketing strategies within QSR or franchised organizations preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire direct reports to achieve company objectives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders; ability to present effectively to senior leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and form actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional project management capabilities, including driving great outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Steadfast ability to act as the key person-to-contact in interactions with downstream stakeholders, including franchisees and customers.
