About The Position

Reporting to Senior Director, Finance, the Manager will serve as a crucial member of the Finance team for Fanatics Collectibles. This role will be important to building Collectibles’ finance operations, processes and best practices.  The manager will play a critical role in creating analyses and building models that will define the future of the Fanatics Collectibles business.  The role will partner across multiple teams within the Collectibles and Fanatics organizations. We are looking for an exceptional analytical thinker, who will help build cases for new strategies and investments, as well as help perform analysis on existing businesses.  This individual must have strong financial acumen and judgement.  The successful candidate must be a detail focused, curious, problem solver.  Individuals with a demonstrated passion for sports, culture and entertainment will likely find themselves as a strong cultural fit. Fanatics is building a leading global digital sports platform. Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience with a preference for candidates with a background in Investment Banking, Finance / Accounting and Strategy
  • Expertise within MS Excel; including advanced functions used in building complex models
  • Track record of working with complex cash flow models
  • Proficiency in Oracle
  • Experience integrating automation tools into day-to-day workflows (e.g., ChatGPT, Alteryx)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BBA or equivalent)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify the "big picture" in complex situations by linking information and considering abstract or longer-term perspectives
  • Critically evaluates problems, situations or processes into its component parts and understands the nature of those parts and their relationship to one another
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Proven ability to multi-task and effectively manage priorities
  • Ability to anticipate analysis needs and employ an investigative approach to work
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to understand technical details, processes and system requirements

  • Experience in a large, multi-division company, or experience in a start-up environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain the monthly cash flow forecast for the Collectibles business
  • Identify and implement automation and process improvements to cash flow forecasting to improve efficiency, accuracy, and long-term scalability
  • Analyze working capital drivers and operating metrics, translating financial insights into actionable recommendations to improve inventory management, payables, and overall cash efficiency
  • Own and lead the monthly CapEx review process, including developing executive-ready materials, driving capital review meetings, and facilitating discussions on investment performance and approvals
  • Develop deal/ROI models for new CapEx initiatives, documenting cost per machine, expected ROI, headcount savings, and throughput assumptions
  • Lead post-investment assessments to evaluate performance versus expectations, surface key learnings, and strengthen future capital planning and decision-making
  • Lead negotiations with third-party vendors to improve pricing and contractual terms
  • Manage P&L and cash flow forecasting for emerging lines of business
