The FP&A Manager provides financial leadership across budgeting, forecasting, project financial performance, and strategic decision support. Location & Travel Details: The location of this position is flexible, with preference given to candidates in the Denver area. This position will have up to 10% travel to offices and project sites. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA, CPA, CMA or equivalent preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience ideally in construction or related industry
  • Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
  • When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
  • Set a personal example of safe behavior.
  • Proficiency in complex project accounting principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • Strong knowledge of InEight or Vista Software / Oracle ERP systems.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage simultaneous tasks/assignments.
  • Exceptional team building skills and ability to collaborate with groups throughout the company.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to comprehend complex assignments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly re‑forecast cycle.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports.
  • Lead initiatives for development and communication of KPIs across the organization.
  • Lead DSO reporting and cash management processes.
  • Produce data‑driven reports and executive‑level presentations.
  • Coordinate standardized project financial summaries.
  • Produce clear, data‑driven insights to support strategic decision‑
  • Analyze budget‑to‑actual variances and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Partner with operations, project controls, and other cross-functional groups to improve financial performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, reporting tools, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Support financial systems and reporting enhancements to improve data integrity and efficiency.
