The Franchising Development Manager will be responsible for supporting of candidates throughout their learning journey in the candidate Franchising training program.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree; High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Learning and Development experience including facilitation skills and learning assessment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback and take necessary action to make improvements.
  • Ability to get things done through influence and relationship management.
  • Knowledge and experience of McDonald’s Operations and platforms (HU, Campus, FRED, etc.)
  • Ability to create and maintain processes and systems to support organization.
  • Competence in MS 365 including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, CoPilot

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a load of 25-40 candidates all at varying levels of readiness, guiding them through the Francise Candidate Training Program.
  • Validate candidate knowledge of all areas of restaurant operations, finance, NFS, Food Safety, People, Technology, Back Office, Marketing, Pricing, and other topics relevant to being a successful owner/operator.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and resources to enable skill and relationship building.
  • Conduct gap analysis to determine learning needs and customize learning plans based on candidate experience.
  • Assess candidate readiness at all stages of the training program.
  • Proactively manager stakeholder groups to ensure alignment between franchising and the field offices
  • Serve a strategic partner to field offices and other departments to ensure candidates are getting what they need from the program.
  • Facilitate sessions for small and large audiences in virtual and in-person settings
