About The Position

The Manager, Global Ecommerce Merchandising is responsible for leading the global ecommerce merchandising strategy to support and deliver against Life360’s global DTC sales objectives. This role leads campaign planning, onsite merchandising excellence, and merchandising operations across markets, while managing a team responsible for regional execution, content operations, and localization. This is a “player-coach” role that combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. The Manager provides direct execution support within CMS and PIM tools as needed to ensure continuity, quality, and speed—particularly for high-impact initiatives, complex updates, peak periods, or during team transitions. This position partners closely with Marketing, Product, Ecommerce Operations, and Channel Sales teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact campaigns and customer experiences across Life360’s broader commerce ecosystem. The Canada-based salary range for this position is $141,000 to $165,500 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary- therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, digital commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success driving ecommerce performance through merchandising strategy and onsite execution.
  • Hands-on experience working directly in CMS and PIM tools to support ecommerce merchandising execution.
  • Experience operating in a global or multi-market commerce environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform decisions.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Creative, and Operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and evolve global ecommerce merchandising frameworks, promotional guidelines, and campaign best practices that scale across regions.
  • Lead global campaign planning in partnership with Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Channel Sales (Retail and Amazon), and regional stakeholders.
  • Ensure merchandising strategies are consistent, high-quality, and adaptable across markets and customer segments.
  • Balance global standards with regional flexibility to support diverse market needs.
  • Ensure ecommerce merchandising aligns with broader cross-channel campaign narratives and timing.
  • Help drive and deliver against global DTC sales objectives through effective onsite merchandising, promotions, and campaign execution.
  • Lead planning, forecasting, and performance reviews of campaigns and promotions.
  • Translate performance data, customer insights, and market trends into actionable merchandising strategies.
  • Enable regional execution with clear frameworks, and performance expectations.
  • Support cross-channel alignment by ensuring ecommerce execution complements retail and marketplace activity..
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, reduce friction, and increase conversion across the ecommerce journey.
  • Advocate for new site features, modules, and functionality in collaboration with Web Product Management and Engineering.
  • Contribute insights, hypotheses, and merchandising context to experimentation and optimization initiatives led by Product and Marketing teams.
  • Incorporate CRO learnings into ongoing merchandising standards and execution.
  • Lead global merchandising operations, including campaign execution, CMS-driven updates, localization, and onsite QA.
  • Establish standards and best practices for merchandising execution across homepage, landing pages, category pages, and PDPs.
  • Provide hands-on leadership and execution support within CMS and PIM tools for high-impact initiatives, complex updates, peak periods, or during team transitions.
  • Own execution for complex campaigns, launches, or priority initiatives where senior judgment or speed is required.
  • Ensure merchandising content is accurate, timely, and aligned with campaign strategy across all regions.
  • Partner closely with Ecommerce Operations to ensure merchandising execution aligns with pricing, promotions, and system constraints.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and automate merchandising workflows to increase speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Web Product, Engineering, Ecommerce Operations, Marketing Ops, and Creative teams to improve tooling, templates, and processes.
  • Reduce manual effort in campaign setup, localization, and content QA through operational improvements.
  • Enable global merchandising execution to scale without incremental complexity or headcount.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for international merchandising execution and merchandising operations.
  • Establish clear goals and accountability tied to execution quality, performance support, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a player–coach, stepping into execution when needed while building scalable processes that reduce long-term dependency on manual effort.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a key ecommerce merchandising partner to Lifecycle Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, Web Product, Device Product, Finance, Ecommerce Operations, and Channel Sales teams.
  • Represent ecommerce merchandising and onsite needs in go-to-market planning, launches, and campaign retrospectives.
  • Help align strategy and execution with broader cross-channel strategies.
