We are seeking an HR Manager (Business Partner) to join our Penn Color team. This role serves as a hands-on HR leader and trusted business partner to site leadership, translating business needs into practical people solutions. The HR Manager is responsible for executing HR programs that support operational goals, driving consistent processes, strengthening workforce capability, and ensuring compliance. By partnering closely with leaders and employees, this role plays a critical part in supporting performance, engagement, and overall site success. This is a hands-on HR role requiring a broad background across core HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compliance, HR Policies & Procedures, HRIS (Workday), Health & Safety collaboration, Change Management, and Employee Relations. The position is based in a manufacturing facility, with occasional travel to other sites as needed. As part of supporting a five-day, three-shift operation, the role may require flexibility to attend early or late meetings and periodically work beyond standard business hours to address operational needs, deadlines, or urgent HR matters. The HR Manager will balance tactical execution with program development responsibilities—implementing key HR initiatives while supporting daily operations. The ideal candidate is practical, collaborative, and solutions-oriented, with the ability to build strong relationships and drive consistent, high-quality HR practices within a manufacturing environment. A strong understanding of manufacturing environments is essential. The ultimate goal of this role is to help Penn Color achieve recognition as a “Best Company to Work For.” This position will have direct report(s) and report to the Vice President of Human Resources.
