The Maintenance Manager oversees preventive and corrective maintenance programs, manages maintenance personnel, and ensures compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
  • Experience in food safety environments (GMP, HACCP knowledge preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and develop maintenance technicians and support staff
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • Ensure rapid response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime
  • Maintain and improve equipment reliability, performance, and lifespan
  • Oversee facility systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and mechanical systems
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, GMP, FDA, and food safety regulations
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized services
  • Maintain accurate documentation using CMMS systems
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency
