About the position

This position is for a Manager II in Product Management located at 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066. The role involves analyzing the pain points of Walmart suppliers and creating a product that utilizes Walmart data to derive quick and meaningful insights. The manager will work with business teams on various product initiatives, validate customer feedback, develop product features and roadmaps, and create a product vision. Responsibilities also include conducting user acceptance tests (UAT) to meet quality and performance standards, creating detailed product documentation, and identifying ways to track product health and measure progress over time in critical business metrics. This position does not supervise other employees.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the pain points of Walmart suppliers and create a product for them to utilize Walmart data.
  • Work with business teams on various product initiatives and validate customer feedback.
  • Develop product features and roadmaps, and create product vision.
  • Conduct user acceptance tests (UAT) to meet quality and performance standards.
  • Create detailed product documentation including product roadmaps, requirements documents, project plans, and status reports.
  • Identify and deploy ways of tracking health of products and measure progress over time in critical business metrics.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 3 years of experience in product management; OR Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems Management, or related area and 5 years of experience in product management.
  • Experience defining near-term product strategy and constructing product roadmaps through research of customer pain-points.
  • Experience conducting ideation sessions with business teams and prioritizing requirements for roadmap.
  • Experience documenting feature requirements as per Agile development frameworks.
  • Experience defining feature level Key Performance indicators to evaluate success of features.
  • Experience performing User acceptance testing (UAT) of developed functionality.
  • Experience defining acceptance criteria for technical teams covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Experience preparing release and delivery plans and monitoring product design and development timelines.
  • Experience conducting product walkthroughs to educate business teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering with engineering to identify low cost and fast implementation methods for A/B test requirements.
  • Experience configuring dashboards and views in Power BI, Tableau, and Splunk.
  • Experience performing detailed analysis on collected data from product monitoring tags using Adobe Analytics.
