About The Position

The Information Consumption team enables end-users and applications to access curated data through cleanrooms, query tools, BI platforms, notebooks, and global federated data management to support analytics and decision-making. As a Manager in Information Consumption, you will lead a team of engineers focused on building scalable data solutions that democratize access to trusted data assets. You will partner with product, analytics, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-performance data services. This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Requirements

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
Bachelor’s or master's in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.
6+ years in data engineering with 3+ years in leadership roles.
Expertise in distributed data systems, SQL, Python.
Experience with Cloud BI Platforms, Tableau, PowerBi, Looker, Databricks, dbt.
Experience working to uplift and mature BI product capabilities, policies definition, controls and frameworks
Excellent problem-solving skills with track record in synthesizing complex information to produce impactful management information and support informed decision making.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and sustain relationships across levels and role types influences and collaborates with all levels, functions and geographies
Superior communication and problem-solving skills with a passion to get things done, learn and inspire peers and business partners to uplift skills and capabilities leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive the roadmap for data consumption platforms aligned with enterprise strategy.
Define and implement patterns for federated data access, query optimization, secure data sharing, and cloud migration.
Oversee development of APIs, query engines, and BI tool integrations.
Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Data Infrastructure, Products, and BI.
Drive automation, monitoring, and optimization of BI services.
