YOUR ROLE Our Electrical Distribution Systems’ team is looking for an experienced professional to join its Investor Relations team. The Manager, Investor Relations, will play an important role in organizing and executing investor relations activities to assist in effectively communicating our business strategy, financial performance, and long-term value proposition to existing and prospective investors, as well as industry analysts who follow our company. In this role, you will bring a strong financial lens and business judgement, analytical rigor, and communication skills needed to support the development and delivery of EDS’s messaging to the financial community and stakeholders. You will partner across the organization to understand the drivers of our business, translate complex information into clear insights, and help position EDS as a leading global provider of signal, power, and data distribution for critical systems across the globe. This individual will thrive in an environment that is results oriented, innovative and fast paced. As a finance professional, this position sits at the intersection of strategy, capital markets, and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge and understanding of corporate finance, and the investment community
  • Excellent organization and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytic skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time
  • Ability to work onsite in Troy, MI
  • Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in IR function at a public company or covering public companies on the buy/sell side preferred
  • Sector familiarity in automotive or broader industrials sector preferred.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, AlphaSense, Q4, or similar IR vendor platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the quarterly earnings process including drafting all communications including presentations, scripts, Q&A, press releases, and related materials
  • Support external and internal events including non-deal roadshows, conferences, site visits, investor days, board meetings, and others as required
  • Serve as an important point of contact with the investment community, and understand and analyst sell side analyst sentiment and forecasts
  • Create, update, and QA investor-facing materials such as IR deck, fact sheets, FAQs, website content
  • Partner with FP&A, Strategy, Communications, Legal, ESG/Sustainability, and Business Units to ensure consistent and aligned messaging
  • Manage IR vendor relationships and the annual budget including planning, forecasting, and analysis
  • Monitor daily stock trading drivers and analyze economic, industry and peer developments impacting the company
  • Analyze peer/competitor company fundamentals, financial results, and stock performance to support competitive insights
  • Manage IR external website and contact database, ensuring accurate, current content and well-maintained investor contact records
