About The Position

The Department Manager, under the direction of the Director, is responsible for the direct and indirect total care of the patients within the department at all sites; is responsible for the management of all personnel in their respective areas; is responsible to improve and/or maintain all economical and efficient processes. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three years of supervisory experience preferably in a related area is required.
• Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology science or related field is required.
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills working with multiple disciplines in a service-oriented environment.
• Capable of functioning in a team environment and within a matrixed organization.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment under constant deadlines.
• Ability to provide team leadership.
• Registration by ASCP or other accrediting body is required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supervision is preferred.
