About The Position

As a Manager, Latin America Consumer Communications, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing communication strategies that elevate Goodyear’s brand presence across the region. You will drive impactful public relations initiatives, omni‑channel campaigns, and influencer partnerships tailored to diverse Latin American markets. In this role, you’ll ensure alignment with brand guidelines, support business objectives through strategic communication, and help safeguard the company’s reputation by managing sensitive issues and crises. Your work will strengthen consumer engagement, enhance product visibility, and reinforce Goodyear’s leadership across Latin America.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
  • 7 or more years of experience in external communications role.
  • Excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
  • Accountable, actionable and is comfortable with contributing whatever is needed to drive the best results for the company.
  • Understanding of what consumers respond to on social media.
  • Master command of English and Spanish languages.
  • Understanding of the Latin America media landscape.
  • Foundational knowledge of marketing principles and how to work closely with those teams to achieve synced objectives.
  • Must be fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish to support multilingual communication across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional communication strategies that elevate brand visibility through media outreach, press releases, influencer initiatives, and event communications.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for regional media and key stakeholders, building strong relationships and ensuring consistent, integrated messaging across channels.
  • Lead omni‑channel campaign development, including social media, partnerships, and licensing, while overseeing licensed products for the region.
  • Adapt global communication strategies to local markets to ensure cultural relevance and audience resonance.
  • Manage regional communications operations, including vendor and agency oversight, budget management, and crisis communication support aligned with global protocols.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on communications performance, providing insights and recommendations in collaboration with regional and global marketing teams.
