Holman currently has an opening for an experienced Manager - Learning Design to join their team! Principal Purpose of Position: Manage and provide guidance to Learning & Development Instructional Designers I and II; ensure team alignment with organizational goals and instructional design best practices. Develop training content for compliance and regulatory requirements; ensure all content meets the required standards and is up-to-date with current regulations. Work with senior leadership to anticipate industry changes and proactively create training strategies that address future needs; provide insights and recommendations on training and development to support organizational goals. Review and approve instructional materials developed by the team. Collaborate with business partners to proactively identify training needs and performance gaps; conduct thorough training needs analysis to gather information on learner and organizational requirements. Partner with operational training teams to align and collaborate on learning strategies to ensure a seamless partner experience. Oversee the creation of detailed design documents for various training formats, including classroom, self-paced, and blended learning; incorporate sound principles of adult learning theory to accommodate different learning styles. Leverage a variety of learning technologies to achieve desired learning outcomes; ensure the effective use of design software such as Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia, and others. Work closely with Training Operations to leverage the Learning Management System (LMS) for content delivery and tracking; ensure seamless integration of new training content into the LMS. Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs; continuously improve training content based on feedback and performance data. Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously; ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Act as a liaison between instructional designers, business partners, and training operations; facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all stakeholders. Stay current with trends in instructional design, adult learning theory, and learning technologies; incorporate industry best practices into the design and development of training programs.
