About The Position

The Network Strategy Manager oversees the development of Frontier’s 18 month to 5‑year network strategy, ensuring long range plans are coherent, data driven, and aligned with commercial and operational goals. This role provides the forward-looking structure needed to guide capacity and fleet decisions, ensure network plans are cohesive with business priorities, and manage strategic network risk

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Aviation, Economics, Business, Statistics or related analytical field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
  • 4+ years of experience in network planning, commercial strategy, fleet strategy or capacity planning
  • Ability to lead cross functional initiatives without direct authority and influence strategic decision making at senior levels
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Excel, Diio and Sabre Schedule Manager, or comparable product suite
  • Strong understanding of airline financial metrics and how network decisions impact company financial and operational performance
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate ideas to leadership
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with network planning tools, forecasting models and scenario modeling
  • Knowledge of aircraft and aircraft performance capabilities
  • Standard office equipment, including PC, copier, fax machine, printer

Responsibilities

  • Long-Range Network Strategy
  • Define and maintain Frontier’s multi-year strategy, including longer-term aircraft and capacity deployment plans
  • Develop medium to long range network scenarios to guide strategic decision making
  • Evaluate emerging markets, competitive threats and macroeconomic shifts to shape strategic direction
  • Capacity Planning & Operational Alignment
  • Construct baseline multiyear commercial capacity plans that align with fleet growth, airport capacity, resource requirements and infrastructure requirements
  • Develop preliminary operations-aligned solutions (e.g., RON/RE patterns, crew feasibility) to ensure schedule viability
  • Partner closely with Scheduling, Operational Design and other stakeholders to maintain a unified long-term plan aligned with business priorities
  • Strategic Portfolio Management & KPIs
  • Own network level KPI’s including new/immature route exposure, connectivity, and competitive positioning & benchmarking
  • Maintain a top-down view of the entire network portfolio
  • Partner with the Network Forecasting & Analytics team to design and operate network planning models that support strategic decision making.
  • Other Functions
  • Prepare executive level presentations that clearly communicate the long-term strategies, trade-offs, risk and financial implications
  • Staff workload management and skill development
  • Cross functioning with Scheduling, Finance, Fleet, Operations, Airports and Revenue teams
