About The Position

Responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the cleaning services department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Responsible for staffing, scheduling, training and developing staff. Works in conjunction with the Director of Cleaning Service Operations and Development in managing budgets of all cleaning contracts including documenting expenses. Ensures the proper maintenance of all equipment; makes arrangements for repair and/or replacement of equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Business or related
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Two (2) years commercial cleaning experience
  • Two (2) years customer service
  • Two (2) years management/supervisory experience
  • Familiarity with basic computer applications (word, excel, e-mail, etc)
  • Valid New York State driver’s license that meets the Agency’s driving policy
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff, affirmative business employees and other contacts
  • Ability to react appropriately to emergency and other unusual situations
  • Ability to manage multiple program responsibilities
  • Ability to perform physical demands of job

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related
