Springs Window Fashions is currently hiring for a Global Commodity Manager to manage the procurement of a variety of essential commodities, working closely with internal customers on requirements and taking a strategic, quality and cost-focused approach to the procurement needs of the organization. Position Mission The Global Commodity Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive commodity strategies for direct materials supporting Springs Window Fashions operations, including metals, finishes, stampings, and fasteners, representing an annual spend exceeding $100M. Reporting to the Director of Global Sourcing, this role ensures a competitive, resilient, and high-performing supply base aligned to business objectives. This position partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality to translate business requirements into sourcing strategies that drive cost competitiveness, innovation, and supply continuity. The role leads price negotiations, value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE) initiatives, supplier selection, and continuous improvement efforts to deliver sustainable cost reductions. The Global Commodity Manager also drives Supplier Relationship Management for strategic suppliers, leading regular business reviews, monitoring supplier performance, capacity, and risk, and proactively mitigating supply chain disruptions to ensure operational continuity and long-term value creation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (technical or business discipline preferred).
  • 7+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, including commodity management and mid-level leadership exposure.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing strategic supplier relationships.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative capabilities.
  • Proven negotiation and project management skills.
  • Effective cross-functional collaborator and communicator, including executive presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • CPM or CPIM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commodity strategies that drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, and cross-business alignment.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, supplier selection, and contract development; ensure agreements are implemented and performance expectations are met.
  • Build and sustain a competitive supply environment through alternate sourcing strategies, Low-Cost Country development, and proactive market analysis.
  • Drive year-over-year productivity through value analysis/value engineering (VA/VE), continuous improvement, and a robust cost savings pipeline.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales & Marketing) to support NPD, ECNs, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead Supplier Relationship Management for key suppliers, including performance reviews, capacity monitoring, risk mitigation, and executive reporting of KPIs and cost-down initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing spend and market analysis to identify strategic sourcing opportunities and anticipate industry trends, M&A activity, and supply risk.
  • Provide analytical rigor and executive-level reporting to support sourcing decisions and financial performance.
  • Provide functional leadership and direction to a Sourcing Specialist, prioritizing work, guiding execution of sourcing initiatives, and ensuring alignment to commodity strategy (without direct reporting responsibility).
