About The Position

Under the direction of the AVP of Client Success, the Manager, Implementation & Client Onboarding will lead a team of Implementation Managers, overseeing the end-to-end onboarding and deployment of PBM solutions for clients. This role ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest level of client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of PBM operations, system implementations, and team leadership within a client-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field is required
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in PBM, healthcare, or related field is required
  • Proven experience in leading implementation managers or project leadership teams
  • Experience with PBM systems, pharmacy operations, or healthcare technology implementations.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using metrics and reporting to drive improvements.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and navigate complex client requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of Implementation Managers.
  • Provide performance feedback, coaching, and career development guidance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely and successful execution of client onboarding projects.
  • Monitor project progress, resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution.
  • Establish and enforce implementation standards, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex client issues during implementation.
  • Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Clinical, and IT teams to align project goals.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance delivery.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, playbooks, and templates for implementation projects.
  • Track key metrics and generate reports on project status, performance, and outcomes.
  • Partner with Product, IT, Clinical, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffs.
  • Provide input on system enhancements, workflow improvements, and client requirements.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to client success and operational excellence.
