Reporting to the Regional Hub Director, this Inside Sales Manager (ISM) is accountable for managing, hiring and developing a team of 8-10 Inside Account Managers (IAMs) and realizing a territory sales plan leveraging high velocity selling motions. This position focuses on coaching and developing sales talent, creating a demand generation plan to achieve quota and driving operational excellence with KPIs and continuous improvement plans. ​ Qualified applicants must reside in the US and will be required to be onsite out of our downtown Chicago office 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8 + years of B2B sales experience selling technology-related offerings
  • Current/previous team lead or direct people management experience
  • Must reside in the US and be able to work out of Zebra s downtown Chicago office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Build Zebra s new Inside Sales team and strategy to consistently achieve quota ​
  • Recruit, interview and hire job applicants​
  • Manage and supervise daily activities and KPIs of the Inside Sales team​
  • Coach and mentor Inside Sales representatives to enhance their selling skills and ensure consistent best practice utilization ​
  • Set individual and team goals, and track against those to drive operational excellence - course correct where needed​
  • Collaborate with enabling functions (marketing, sales ops, training, IT)​
  • Conduct performance reviews to improve rep performance and performance managing low-performers, as needed​​
  • Foster high performance culture: Results driven, resilient, accountable
  • Work in-person from the inside hub in downtown Chicago 5x/week to establish rapport with inside sales teams.
