About The Position

Waypoint is seeking an exceptional, mission-driven leader to serve as our next Manager of Supportive Services and Housing. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for advancing innovative, trauma-informed services for youth and young adults experiencing homelessness. The Manager of Supportive Services and Housing will provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for programs serving homeless youth and young adults. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, strong community partnerships, and measurable outcomes aligned with Waypoint’s mission and values. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, manage program performance, and play a key role in shaping regional strategies to address housing instability and youth homelessness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in human services, housing, or related field
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex programs and leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Deep knowledge of homelessness, housing systems, and youth/young adult services
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and contract management
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • This position requires a consistent on‑site presence, strong follow‑through, timely decision‑making, and proactive communication to maintain operational stability
  • The Manager will be based primarily in Rochester (approximately 70%) and will travel throughout the Tri‑City Region, Merrimack County, and Manchester (approximately 30%)
