Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Experience developing and executing pricing and monetization strategies to drive growth and profitability (2 years).
  • Proficiency in conducting pricing and revenue analyses to support strategic decision-making (2 years).
  • Hands-on experience performing statistical data analyses to uncover insights and inform business actions (2 years).
  • Expertise in business analytics and reporting, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform strategic decisions (2 years).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience tailoring messages to executive and cross-functional audiences (2 years).
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration, partnering with product, finance, sales, marketing and other teams (2 years).
  • Proven track record of effectively leading diverse teams and people, and fostering strong collaboration to deliver high-impact results (2 years).
  • Experience in financial modeling and developing robust business cases to support strategic decisions (2 years).
  • Managing complex projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives (2 years).
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data querying, manipulation, and analysis (1 year).

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and transform key product, market, and consumer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Develop business cases to substantiate opportunities and prioritization.
  • Utilize experience with end-to-end management of complex, multi-faceted projects (e.g., scoping, deliverables, execution).
  • Support and advise senior executives in finance, product, and sales on pricing and monetization strategies across PayPal’s products and services, globally.
  • Utilize findings to influence the development of products and features that will enable consumers to engage in cross-border sopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.
  • Create and modify pricing strategies in close collaboration with a cross-functional team, prepare materials on pricing initiatives for executive discussions, and secure alignments with key business stakeholders.
  • Drive analysis of category spending to identify opportunities to reduce total category spending utilizing all savings levers.
