Job Summary The Manager, Business Unit Procurement will oversee and lead all procurement activities within a Battelle Business Unit primarily within Commercial and the US Government direct contracting framework, ensuring adherence to procurement policies and requirements. This role will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with the Business Unit’s objectives, ensuring compliance with all Battelle procurement systems and guidance as well as prime contract flow-downs. The Manager will be responsible for engaging cross-functionally with business line managers, other internal functions (e.g., Contracts, Project Controls, Accounts Payable, Legal, Compliance, etc.), and external suppliers to drive procurement efficiency, cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance success. This position requires strong leadership in developing and managing a team of procurement professionals.
