About The Position

As a member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for successful delivery of the TransTrack software to our customers. In the role of Manager of Professional Services role, you will lead TransTrack’s delivery team, establishing and maintaining software delivery and consulting best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, within scope and with quality, that delight our customers. You will be accountable for successful delivery of our contracts and service agreements and the revenue associated with them. As the Professional Services leader, you will work across the TransTrack organization and externally to deliver solutions and services to our customers to help them achieve business objectives. The implementations lead by this team are the foundation for Delivery revenue and the team is integral in helping both TransTrack and its customers achieve business results. This position requires a motivated, energetic person who is execution focused can meet demands of a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will be an effective people manager with solid experience in delivering software in a SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • Comprehensive understanding and demonstration of project delivery and consulting industry standards and principals.
  • Proven ability in leading professional staff to achieve results on complex, high-profile projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience leading transformative change to develop and build a discipline for business consistency and improvements.
  • Proven ability to lead a team in establishing priorities, identifying critical issues, recommending options, meeting tight deadlines, and working under pressure on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated use of negotiation methods, techniques, and best practices in leading through and supporting a team through contract negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Passion for understanding and solving critical customer problems and spearheading continuous improvement within our organization.
  • High drive and work ethic that allows you to excel in an environment where you manage multiple simultaneous engagements and competing deadlines.
  • Ability for travel of up to 25% with possible weekend and nighttime activity as needed.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading teams who support and implement Software Delivery and SaaS projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of implementation consultants in the professional services team, coaching, motivating, mentoring, and influencing to take proactive action and accountability for their work, performance and results.
  • Work closely with other areas of the TransTrack business including Product Management, Research & Development, Sales, and Customer Care to develop synergies that set the Professional Services team up for success in achieving results.
  • Manage people, financials and operations functions of the professional services team, ensuring the team has the skillset and structure to deliver on their commitments while achieving key performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute departmental plans to achieve organizational priorities and establish, maintain, and continuously improve best practices within professional services, and report progress to the business.
  • Establish a framework of tools, processes, policies and procedures and cadence of accountability for professional services to encourage a consistent experience for our customers.
  • Lead, guide and support your team and leadership through escalations, serving as the escalation point and person of contact for our customers.
  • Participate in the preparation of the Quarterly Strategic Review (QSR), report progress to the business, and be accountable to achieving the forecasted results.
  • Develop and implement a system to evaluate and improve the skills, knowledge, experience, and professional development needs of the team.
