Manager, Project Management Order Management The Manager, Project Management role manages the day-to-day functions of our Project Managers. The role is to provide guidance and direction on both technical and commercial issues in fulfilling customer commitments. The role requires knowledge of our products, strong grasp of commercial issues, and deep knowledge of our processes and procedures. The Manager will be expected to directly supervise and manage the Project Managers and be accountable for the daily management and metrics associated with the team. As a Manager of Project Management you will: Hire, onboard, mentor, and manage a team of Project Managers, fostering growth and skill development Manage the day-to-day operations of the team supporting team in daily tasks by providing managerial oversight and decision-making for multiple key projects up to and including resolving order timeline conflicts, setting customer expectations, and providing consistent performance feedback to improve customer experience to the team Act as a key liaison to Operations, Sales, Finance, and Quality teams in prioritization, issue resolution, and communication to customers Act as a point of contact for our global manufacturing facilities for issue resolution tied to domestic customers and G&W Electrics representatives Lead the development, implementation, and management of industry leading processes and tools that lead to superior levels of customer satisfaction Establish and enhance the framework for risk identification, mitigation, and quality assurance for all key projects Develop and review metrics and KPI targets that track team performance in areas that affect customer satisfaction and team efficiency Set priorities and act early on negative trends Foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive lean principles into team processes Point of escalation for customer dissatisfaction and act as G&W Electrics spokesperson lead customer calls and meetings to continue customer relations Significant global, cross-functional interaction, and leadership is required across the organization with Global Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Management, AMS, Finance, etc. Leadership: Responsible for day-to-day performance of the Project Managers setting team standards and metrics, managing resources, handling escalations, and stakeholder communications. Guides/monitors group toward its goals ensures employees productivity, resolve problems, has authority to change work roles and work distribution. Responsible for genuine input regarding Human Resources matters of significance e.g. participates in selection of new employees, provides meaningful input to performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, terminations etc.
